DE-MART (DPS EAST MATHEMATICS ANNUAL ROLLING TROPHY)

DPS East, Ahmedabad hosted its first Inter School Mathematics Competition by conducting DE-MART on 4th January 2009 wherein ten schools of Ahmedabad had participated and the Rolling trophy was won by DPS Gandhinagar. Our Second competition was conducted on 23rd January 2010 wherein seventeen schools of Ahmedabad had participated and the trophy was won by DPS Bopal. Third year the ONLINE competition was conducted on 22nd January 2011 wherein 25 schools from all over the country had participated and the trophy was won by two schools- DPS Gandhinagar and  DPS Bopal. The runners up trophy was won and shared by DPS East and The New Tulip International School.

Our objectives :

• To relate the subject to the environment and focus on the development of thinking and reasoning skills.
• To enable students to grasp mathematical concepts and effectively apply them, understanding must precede drill and practice.
• To expose students to the mode of online examinations.
